Quiz Night
Our annual Quiz Night is coming up soon! The doors open from 7pm on Friday the 10th (at Altone), and the first round of questions begins at 7:30pm. It's always a fun night amongst club members and supporters, so make sure you get your tickets from team reps ASAP - we are very unlikely to be selling tickets at the door on the night. Don't forget to bring your own nibblies, but the bar will be open for all your drink needs!

Quiz Night 2018

Hook in 2 Hockey Carnival
We have a Hook in 2 Hockey carnival this Saturday (the 11th), starting at 9am - it'd be great to see club members down to support the growth of juniors in our club, especially since our J5/6 team plays at home at 10am as well. For those who'd like to help out, please contact Nick Seddon (see just below for details). Good luck to all of our juniors!

Sponsors Day
All four of our turf teams are playing back-to-back on the 25th of August at Hale, starting at 2:30pm with our Provisional 1 side. In recognition of the contribution of our sponsors, along with the history of the club, its life members, and all those who have done their part in helping the club, we will be holding a small event on the day. Whilst our grass teams are all playing at other grounds at 2pm, it would be fantastic to see supporters (old and new) come down to Hale to watch our turf teams play, talk with the sponsors present, and generally enjoy a Club Day. We are grateful to Hale Hockey club who are allowing us to host the event and use their facilities to provide food and a free drink for club members - you'll need to speak to a team representative or committee member on the day to get your identification for the free drink. Best of luck to all our teams!

Pingelly Match
Apologies for the late notice, but we have organised the annual match up here with Pingelly for Sunday the 26th of August - it's a friendly game with Pingelly, in honour of the two clubs' friendship over the years, and the counterpart to the match in Pingelly at the start of the season. Club members are welcome to come down and play or spectate, and we will have food and drinks available - see you there for the 11am pushback!

Junior Windup
The Windup for our juniors will be on Tuesday the 11th of September at the clubrooms from 5:30pm - there will be pizza and drinks available, along with a small presentation to celebrate the progress and success of the juniors this year.

Senior Windup
Our Club Senior Windup is fast approaching on Friday the 21st of September - tickets are now available from your team representatives for $65. Please have the money on hand, or be able to provide proof of electronic payment (a screenshot of the transfer etc.) before collecting your ticket from your team representative. We are holding it at the lovely Mulberry on Swan this year, with the doors open from 6:30pm. Don't forget that we hold our AGM at the windup as well! Tickets need to be purchased by the 14th of September, which pays for a buffet dinner, the location, and a DJ & photographer. Alcohol will need to be purchased from the cash bar on the night, so don't forget to bring some money as well!

Entertainment Books
The Club is selling Entertainment books again this year. The online order page link is available at Entertainment Books Blades. These are some really great deals, and we get a lot of comments back from the people who purchase them praising the wide range of vouchers and discounts it offers. If you're interested but unsure, please contact Paul 'Goz' Sicluna on 0435964356.

Fundraising Chocolates
The fundraising is still underway; for those who have sold their chocolate, please remember to pass on the money to your team representatives ASAP. Thank you again for all those who have participated in supporting the club through this.

Home Games

The bar is open after every Vets & Metro home game with some of the cheapest drinks around, get down to support your club. You'd be crazy not to at these prices.
